4. Independent Third-Party Suppliers

Sage Travel Services acts solely as a tour organizer and coordinator.

We do not own, operate, control, or maintain motorcoaches, transportation vehicles, airlines, hotels, attractions, restaurants, or other service providers used in connection with our tours. All such services are provided by independent third-party suppliers.

Sage Travel Services has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the acts, omissions, negligence, or conduct of any independent third-party supplier, including but not limited to motorcoach operators and drivers.

Liability for any injury, loss, accident, delay, or damage arising from the operation or use of transportation services rests solely with the provider of those services.

5. Delays, Mechanical Issues & Itinerary Changes

Travel involves risks and uncertainties.

Sage Travel Services shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, mechanical failure, accident, breakdown, traffic condition, weather event, government action, labor strike, airline cancellation, act of God, or other occurrence beyond its direct control.

While the Company will make reasonable efforts to continue the tour as planned, schedules and itineraries are not guaranteed.

No refunds, credits, or compensation shall be provided for delays, interruptions, or itinerary changes resulting from circumstances beyond the Company’s control.

6. Assumption of Risk

Travel and motorcoach transportation involve inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, sudden stops, roadway conditions, mechanical failures, weather events, injuries, illnesses, and personal property loss.

By participating in the tour, each traveler voluntarily assumes all risks associated with travel and transportation.

7. Release and Waiver of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, each traveler releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue Sage Travel Services, its owners, officers, employees, agents, contractors, and representatives (“Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in the tour.

This release includes claims arising from ordinary negligence of the Released Parties but does not apply to gross negligence or willful misconduct where prohibited by law.

8. Indemnification

Each traveler agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from their participation in the tour.

9. Medical Treatment

In the event of a medical emergency, the traveler authorizes the Company to secure medical treatment deemed necessary and agrees to be responsible for all associated costs.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Any insurance claims are solely between the traveler and their insurance provider.

11. Complaints and Incident Reporting

Any complaint, injury, or issue must be reported immediately to the tour guide or Company representative during the tour so that it may be addressed.

Failure to report a complaint or injury at the time of occurrence may limit the Company’s ability to investigate and resolve the matter.

12. Conduct and Removal

Travelers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and lawful manner. Disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.

13. Special Requirements

Travelers must notify Sage Travel Services in advance of any medical conditions, mobility limitations, or special needs.

14. Customer Responsibility

Travelers are responsible for arriving on time for departures and scheduled activities. The Company is not responsible for missed activities due to traveler delay.

15. Photography and Marketing

Participation constitutes consent to the use of photographs and videos for promotional purposes.

16. Processing Refunds

Refunds, if applicable, will be issued by check or credited to the original payment method.

17. Goodwill Compensation

Any complimentary trip, credit, or compensation offered by Sage Travel Services is provided solely as a goodwill gesture and does not constitute an admission of liability.

18. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.

Any dispute arising from participation in a tour shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Aiken County, South Carolina.

19. Modification of Terms
