SAMPLE ITINERARY

MONDAY, MAY 10 — COASTAL ARRIVAL

Travel to the Outer Banks and settle in near the ocean, with time to enjoy the first views of North Carolina's beautiful barrier islands.

TUESDAY, MAY 11 — COROLLA & WILD HORSES

Head north for an off-road wild-horse safari, the Currituck Beach Lighthouse area, and the relaxed coastal atmosphere of Corolla.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 12 — FIRST FLIGHT & ROANOKE ISLAND

Discover the Wright Brothers story, then enjoy historic Manteo and the gardens and waterfront of Roanoke Island.

THURSDAY, MAY 13 — HATTERAS & OCRACOKE

Follow the national seashore past Bodie Island toward Cape Hatteras, with a planned ferry ride and time on Ocracoke when conditions permit.

FRIDAY, MAY 14 — HOMEWARD BOUND

Enjoy a final coastal morning before returning home with memories of wild horses, lighthouses, and island villages.
