Saturday, April 18 – On the Road to Adventure! 🚍

Climb aboard your comfortable, restroom-equipped motorcoach and get ready to head west on a journey packed with nostalgia, quirky roadside attractions, and scenic landscapes! Enjoy rest stops, fun entertainment, and good company as we make our way toward the start of our Route 66 adventure.

Sunday, April 19 – Superman & the Gateway to the West 🦸‍♂️🌉

After breakfast, we’ll stop in Metropolis, Illinois, to snap a photo with the giant Superman statue and enjoy a bit of fun in this playful town. Then it's on to St. Louis, where we’ll visit the Gateway Arch and its fascinating museum. Take an optional tram ride to the top or enjoy the exhibits at your own pace.

Monday, April 20 – Cruising Route 66 to Springfield! 🛣️🏨

Today we continue along historic Route 66! We’ll visit the Route 66 Museum in Lebanon, Missouri, filled with retro displays and roadside Americana. By afternoon, we’ll arrive in Springfield, Missouri, where we’ll check in for a four-night stay. Unpack, relax, and get ready for several days of iconic Route 66 fun based from this charming city.

Tuesday, April 21 – Murals & Route 66 Magic 🎨🛣️

This morning, we head west to Joplin for a guided driving tour of the city's colorful murals and Route 66 history. After lunch, we’ll return to Springfield and visit the acclaimed History Museum on the Square, featuring immersive exhibits, a recreated 1950s streetscape, and local stories from Route 66. Enjoy some free time downtown before heading back to the hotel.

Wednesday, April 22 – Caverns & Creatures: Springfield Style! 🦇🐟

Today we explore two of Springfield’s top attractions! First, we’ll enjoy a tram ride through Fantastic Caverns, America’s only ride-through cave—no walking required. Then it’s on to Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, filled with aquariums, wildlife displays, and unique shops. There are plenty of places to sit, relax, and explore at your own pace.

Thursday, April 23 – Curves, Fudge & Classic Roadside Fun 🌲🍬

This morning, we drive a beautiful stretch of Route 66 through the forested hills of Devil’s Elbow, known for its scenic views and historic bridge. Then we’ll stop at the quirky and colorful Uranus Fudge Factory, a favorite roadside attraction full of fun photo ops and sweet treats. In the evening, we’ll gather for a final group dinner together before preparing for our return trip.

Friday, April 24 – Quilts, Murals & Small-Town Charm 🧵🎨

We begin our journey back east with a visit to Paducah, Kentucky, known for its historic riverfront and thriving arts scene. We'll explore the world-class National Quilt Museum, featuring vibrant and creative displays that appeal to all. The rest of the day offers time to relax and enjoy the company of fellow travelers.

Saturday, April 25 – Choo Choo & the Road Home Begins 🚂🛣️

Today we make our way to Chattanooga, Tennessee, where we’ll stop at the iconic Chattanooga Choo Choo complex. Once a grand railway terminal, the complex is now home to boutique shops, gardens, and charming cafés—all set against a backdrop of railroad nostalgia. Take time to stretch your legs, enjoy lunch, and explore this unique stop before we continue east.

Sunday, April 26 – Homeward Bound 🏡💖

After breakfast, we complete the last leg of our journey back to Lexington and North Augusta, SC. Share your favorite moments, exchange photos, and say farewell to new friends after a wonderful journey down America’s most iconic road.

FAQ about our Tours

What is your cancellation policy?

Travelers who cancel their booking at least 60 days prior to the trip departure date are eligible for a full refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 60 days of the departure date are non-refundable.

If travel insurance was purchased and the reason for cancellation falls under the coverage terms of your policy, you may be able to file a claim to recover eligible costs of the trip, excluding the travel insurance premium. Please refer to the terms and conditions of your travel insurance policy and consult directly with your insurance provider for details regarding coverage and claims.

I want to go but do not have a roommate, do you offer roommate matching?

We do not match roommates. We do have a Facebook group where you can request a roommate match and find your own roommate. You can find it by CLICKING HERE.

What if there is inclement weather?

In case of inclement weather, we will make every effort to reschedule the tour. Should rescheduling prove impossible, you will be fully refunded.

Are there any stops scheduled for the bus ride?

Yes! We have stops schedule every 2 to 2.5 hours.

Do you offer luggage handling?

Luggage handling will be provided at the final destination hotel. It will not be provided at the en route hotels.

What hotels will we be staying at?

Hotel details will be provided approximately one month before your trip. Typically, we select nationally recognized mid-tier hotels, such as Best Western, Tru by Hilton, and Country Inn and Suites, based on our previous trips. Rest assured, all accommodations are routinely inspected by our tour company to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and cleanliness.
