Monday, April 13 – Historic Markets & Mighty Oaks 🌳
Depart your group’s location aboard our comfortable motorcoach as we head for Charleston, South Carolina! Upon arrival, enjoy free time to explore the Historic Charleston City Market, a National Historic Landmark filled with unique shops and southern charm. Next, stop for photos at the famed Angel Oak Tree, a 400-year-old natural wonder. This evening, savor dinner together before checking into our Charleston area hotel for a two-night stay.
Tuesday, April 14 – Tea, Traditions & Harbor Views 🍵⛴️
After breakfast, we’ll visit the Charleston Tea Garden for a fascinating factory tour, samples at the Tea Bar, and a narrated trolley tour through the only tea plantation of its kind in North America. After lunch on your own and some free time in Downtown Charleston, we’ll set sail on a relaxing Harbor Cruise. Take in stunning views of the “Holy City” while learning its rich history and spotting iconic landmarks. Tonight, gather for a delicious dinner before returning to the hotel.
Wednesday, April 15 – Gardens of History 🌺
After breakfast, we’ll head to historic Middleton Place, home to 65 acres of America’s oldest landscaped gardens. Explore the lush grounds, stables, chapel, rice mill, and more at this remarkable estate. After lunch on your own and final free time in Downtown Charleston, we’ll begin our journey home—reflecting on the beauty, history, and memories of this charming Charleston getaway.
FAQ about our Tours
What is your cancellation policy?
Travelers who cancel their booking at least 60 days prior to the trip departure date are eligible for a full refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 60 days of the departure date are non-refundable.
If travel insurance was purchased and the reason for cancellation falls under the coverage terms of your policy, you may be able to file a claim to recover eligible costs of the trip, excluding the travel insurance premium. Please refer to the terms and conditions of your travel insurance policy and consult directly with your insurance provider for details regarding coverage and claims.
I want to go but do not have a roommate, do you offer roommate matching?
We do not match roommates. We do have a Facebook group where you can request a roommate match and find your own roommate. You can find it by CLICKING HERE.
What if there is inclement weather?
In case of inclement weather, we will make every effort to reschedule the tour. Should rescheduling prove impossible, you will be fully refunded.
Are there any stops scheduled for the bus ride?
Yes! We have stops schedule every 2 to 2.5 hours.
Do you offer luggage handling?
Luggage handling will only be provided.
What hotels will we be staying at?
Hotel details will be provided approximately one month before your trip. Typically, we select nationally recognized mid-tier hotels, such as Best Western, Tru by Hilton, and Country Inn and Suites, based on our previous trips. Rest assured, all accommodations are routinely inspected by our tour company to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and cleanliness.
