Itinerary

Monday, May 3 – Our Journey Begins

Depart early this morning aboard your spacious motorcoach and begin the journey to Michigan’s famous tulip country. Tonight, settle into your en route hotel for a comfortable night’s rest. Please pack an overnight bag for tonight’s stay. Dinner will be on your own.

Tuesday, May 4 – Welcome to Holland and Dutch Village

After breakfast, check out and continue to Holland, Michigan, for the annual Holland Tulip Festival. Arrive in the early afternoon and enjoy lunch on your own before visiting Dutch Village.

Experience the sights and traditions of the Netherlands as you enjoy Dutch folk dancing, wooden-shoe carving demonstrations, Amsterdam street organs, and continuous live entertainment. After your visit, enjoy an included dinner at a local restaurant before checking into your hotel for a relaxing two-night stay.

Wednesday, May 5 – Tulip Gardens, Dutch Heritage and Evening Entertainment

After breakfast, return to Holland for a colorful day of sightseeing. Begin with a visit to Veldheer’s Tulip Gardens, where you can admire beautiful displays of tulips in bloom.

Continue to the DeKlomp Wooden Shoe & Delft Factory, where you’ll see skilled craftsmen carving wooden shoes by hand and machine. Following lunch on your own, meet your Dutch-costumed guide for a tour featuring Holland’s historic neighborhoods, city parks, Hope College, Tulip Lanes, Downtown Holland, and views of the city’s famous windmill.

After the tour, enjoy an included dinner in the area, followed by a spectacular evening revue show. Return to your hotel after the performance.

Thursday, May 6 – Windmill Island Gardens

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and return to Holland for a visit to Windmill Island Gardens. Explore the beautiful grounds and see DeZwaan, an authentic Dutch windmill that serves as one of Holland’s most recognizable landmarks.

After the visit, depart for your final overnight hotel. Please pack an overnight bag for tonight’s stay. Dinner will be on your own.

Friday, May 7 – Homeward Bound

Following breakfast, check out and begin the journey home. Relax aboard the motorcoach and share memories of Holland’s magnificent tulips, Dutch traditions, beautiful gardens, and unforgettable entertainment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your cancellation policy?

Travelers who cancel their booking at least 60 days prior to the trip departure date are eligible for a full refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 60 days of the departure date are non-refundable.

If travel insurance was purchased and the reason for cancellation falls under the coverage terms of your policy, you may be able to file a claim to recover eligible costs of the trip, excluding the travel insurance premium. Please refer to the terms and conditions of your travel insurance policy and consult directly with your insurance provider for details regarding coverage and claims.

I want to go but do not have a roommate, do you offer roommate matching?

We do not match roommates. We do have a Facebook group where you can request a roommate match and find your own roommate. You can find it by CLICKING HERE.

What if there is inclement weather?

In case of inclement weather, we will make every effort to reschedule the tour. Should rescheduling prove impossible, you will be fully refunded.

Are there any stops scheduled for the bus ride?

Yes! We have stops schedule every 2 to 2.5 hours.

Do you offer luggage handling?

Luggage handling will only be provided at the final destination hotel. We will not be providing luggage service at the enroute hotels.

What hotels will we be staying at?

Hotel details will be provided approximately one month before your trip. Typically, we select nationally recognized mid-tier hotels, such as Best Western, Tru by Hilton, and Country Inn and Suites, based on our previous trips. Rest assured, all accommodations are routinely inspected by our tour company to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and cleanliness.
