Day 1

Depart your group's location in a spacious video and restroom equipped motorcoach as you head for your destination: Washington, D.C. our National Capital! Later that day, enjoy a relaxing dinner on your own and check into your Washington, D.C. area hotel for a four night stay.

Day 2

Discover DC + Arts & Culture Celebration on Pennsylvania Avenue

Start your day with a Continental Breakfast at the hotel, then board our comfortable motorcoach for a short ride to the nearest DC Metro station. From there, take the Metro into the heart of Washington, DC, and enjoy a full day of exploration at your own pace.

Spend your day visiting iconic landmarks such as the Lincoln Memorial, World War II Memorial, the Washington Monument, the U.S. Capitol, and more. Wander through the renowned Smithsonian Museums—many of which are free to enter—including the National Museum of American History, the Air and Space Museum, and the Museum of African American History and Culture.

🎨 Special Event – Arts & Culture Day on Pennsylvania Avenue
As part of DC’s 250th anniversary celebration, Pennsylvania Avenue will be alive with creativity and energy. Enjoy large-scale public art displays, live mural painting, hands-on activities, and dazzling digital light projections in the evening. It’s a one-of-a-kind celebration that brings the city’s cultural spirit to life—don’t miss it!

🚌 Transportation Details
We will have scheduled pickup times when the motorcoach will meet you at the Metro station for your return to the hotel. Additionally, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from the Dulles Airport Metro Station throughout the day for your convenience. You’re welcome to return at your own pace using either option.

Day 3

Celebrate Independence Day in the Nation’s Capital! 🇺🇸

Start your morning with a Continental Breakfast at the hotel before boarding our comfortable motorcoach to the nearby DC Metro station. From there, take the Metro into Washington, DC, for another incredible day of sightseeing and celebration.

Spend the morning and early afternoon visiting any of the landmarks or museums you may have missed yesterday, or revisit your favorites. Stroll along the National Mall, tour the Smithsonian museums, or simply take in the patriotic energy of the city on this special day.

🎉 Special Event – Family Day on Pennsylvania Avenue
From midday through late afternoon, Pennsylvania Avenue will be transformed into a family-friendly festival space! Enjoy live performances, street entertainment, interactive games, and fun activities for all ages. This special event is part of the DC250 celebration and a perfect way to experience the spirit of the Fourth in a festive, local way.

🎆 Fireworks Over the National Mall
As evening approaches, make your way toward the National Mall to stake out your spot for one of the country’s most iconic Independence Day fireworks displays—lighting up the sky above the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and Reflecting Pool. It’s truly a bucket-list experience!

🚌 Transportation Details

Our motorcoach will have scheduled pickup times at the Metro station after the fireworks. Due to anticipated large crowds and road closures, please allow extra time for your return trip. The hotel shuttle will also be running to and from the Dulles Airport Metro Station throughout the day and evening, giving you flexible options for getting back to the hotel.

Be sure to bring water, snacks, and something to sit on for the fireworks, and don’t forget your sense of wonder—it’s going to be an unforgettable day!

Day 4

A Final Day to Explore DC at Your Own Pace

Enjoy a light Continental Breakfast at the hotel, then board the motorcoach or hotel shuttle for your ride to the nearby DC Metro station. From there, head into the city for one last day to soak in the history, culture, and charm of the nation’s capital.

This is a perfect opportunity to visit anything you may have missed—perhaps a stroll through the beautiful United States Botanic Garden, a quiet moment at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, or a ride up to the top of the Washington Monument (advance tickets recommended). You might also enjoy browsing the shops and waterfront at The Wharf or exploring Eastern Market for local crafts and food.

Spend the day however you wish—whether diving deeper into museums, relaxing in a scenic park, or grabbing lunch at a local favorite. The city is still buzzing with post-holiday energy, and you’re free to enjoy it all at your own pace.

As with previous days, we’ll provide scheduled motorcoach pick-up times from the Metro station. The hotel’s complimentary shuttle to and from the Dulles Airport Metro Station will also be available throughout the day for your convenience.

Day 5

Today, after enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will depart for home... a perfect time to chat with your friends about all the fun things you've done, the great sights you've seen, and where your next group trip will take you!

FAQ about our Tours

What is your cancellation policy?

Travelers who cancel their booking at least 60 days prior to the trip departure date are eligible for a full refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 60 days of the departure date are non-refundable.

If travel insurance was purchased and the reason for cancellation falls under the coverage terms of your policy, you may be able to file a claim to recover eligible costs of the trip, excluding the travel insurance premium. Please refer to the terms and conditions of your travel insurance policy and consult directly with your insurance provider for details regarding coverage and claims.

What if there is inclement weather?

In case of inclement weather, we will make every effort to reschedule the tour. Should rescheduling prove impossible, you will be fully refunded.

Are there any stops scheduled for the bus ride?

Yes! We have stops schedule every 2 to 2.5 hours.

Do you offer luggage handling?

Luggage handling will not be provided on this trip.

What hotels will we be staying at?

Hotel details will be provided approximately one month before your trip. Typically, we select nationally recognized mid-tier hotels, such as Best Western, Tru by Hilton, and Country Inn and Suites, based on our previous trips. Rest assured, all accommodations are routinely inspected by our tour company to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and cleanliness.
